Project description
Originally conceived as a simple paint-up and fix-up project, the owner decided that new heating, cooling, ventilation, and lighting systems were needed in the 1900's vintage chapel. This represented an extensive transformation and required a new structural floor slab set twenty-eight inches above the existing floor as a compartment to run new duct work. Extensive wiring work in the ceiling and attic was also needed to accommodate the new lighting. All of the rooms in the chapel were then restored to their original condition. The project also included a total exterior masonry restoration of the building. |
